Late last year, some very dear friends asked if I would be willing to capture their wedding day. I was excited to take on the challenge, and we quickly started talking about their engagement session (which we did almost a year ago, you can see it here).
It didn’t seem like a year, but October 9th was their wedding day, and it was quite the celebration at Alborada Village in Phoenix, Arizona. As Megan is from Michigan, much of her family traveled over 2000 miles to spend time and celebrate the union of her and Jaime. Jaime’s family came from all over as well, including California and Mexico! I learned some new traditions, like hand fasting and the marriage/wedding box, met some new people, and was able to capture the spirit of their day in a way that I think was representative.
Please enjoy the images from their day as much as I did making them.
I want to give a special shout-out to my friend Sam Shea for second shooting for this event and doing a great job with everything!
